Helen Martell was born in Gisborne, New Zealand, and it was in this inspiring and beautiful environment that she developed her artistic
skills from a very early age.

When she moved with her family to Sheffield in the UK in 1980, she studied textile design at Loughborough College of Art and Design.

Now living in the beautiful Lincolnshire village of Dry Doddington, with her 2 cats, Sid and Binx, she combines work with her love of painting.

Helen is a member of the Ten Artists Group, based in Sheffield, and has also exhibited regularly at the Great Sheffield Art Show and
Art in the Gardens.

Helen regularly undertakes commissions and can be contacted using the contact form at the top of this page.

Instantly recognisable, Helen has developed her unique style of art over many years, using vibrant colours in acrylic and mixed media.
